Re: Makes ma laugh, and want to cry. But now I have a quest
Surprisingly easy! I only had to take a few minutes to narrow a 15mm wrench. Only had to remember "Right to loosen" :) I may use a chop saw to cut the head off that wrench, turning it into a sleeve with octogon edges so a large socket can fit over it. Then, torquing it down should be a cinch! https:...

Re: Makes ma laugh, and want to cry. But now I have a quest
I don't think it'll be too tough. The work was originally done by TROS, where he cut and crown the original barrel, and then used their adaptor/barrel nut.
I'll try to remove it for s& g real quick, although I don't have any wrenches narrowed yet...

Re: $29 P90 Mags???
I purchased 2 of the translucent black. They are pretty much exact copies of the FNH mags. Even down to the box. Rollers, follower, spring, end plate, all the same. I have loaded one with 50 rounds, I have yet to see how well it unloads (functions). The other company is selling FNH clones as 30 and ...

Re: Its official EVERYONE has jumped into the AR market!
Actually, that is not a joke. An alert went out a few months back (quite a few to think of it), of a web site that was selling ARs under the name of power tools. There was not FFL involvement in the process of purchasing these "tools".

Re: Padlocks
Cool, thanks for the clarification. I have never taken a firearm on a trip with me where I need to fly (yet). For non-firearm contents, the lock is needed. For some odd reason, the woman's camera gear is always inspected. They will cut the lock off if the contents appears suspect. In her case, it is...
Re: Padlocks
The only thing to consider is that if you intend to take the case with you on a trip (plane), you will need a TSA lock. Pelican actually sells them.

I had somewhat the same issue, but no real modification was needed. Just a little oil and working the ejector with a pin punch did the trick.

Yes, I have had this issue with FMJBT big time. I polished the top cone on the inside of the die and cleaned up the ball. I noticed dents in the top of the adjustment screw which is made of aluminium. I was thinking of putting a hard flat piece of steel in the top, thinking the ball may be making co...

Unfortunately I went a bit unprepared, but there was a local MG shoot today which was held at a local gun club. There were a few folks there from the region. I suppose in general I came across rather... harsh. I felt the reference to the cop-killer bullet was simply an uneducated scary term. AP ammo is not readily available, yet the 5.7x28 ammunition is specifically referred to by stories produced by the media. I.e., http://www.bradycampaign.org/ler/fnh/...

I'm certain you can take a suppressor out of the state as far as the NFA branch of the BATFE is concerned. But, you will want to be certain suppressors are OK to posses in the state(s) you are traveling through (and to).

Yep, the Gen 1 has a black hammer. It is my general assumption that the P90 hammer group is all black, and some of the parts are used to make the semi-auto version. That would have to be one significant drop on the but of the gun for a discharge. On the flip side, I'm kinda surprised the BATFE allowed the import with the original design of the ...
