Re: A return to the 5.7 platform..in a big way!
Why is it every time I get in a position to save money, one of you comes up with a reason for me to take out a loan? ;) That's gorgeous! I'll warn you: the arm brace sucks donkey balls...my arms arent to bigg around & I still can't close it all the way...maybe if you were like 5 or something ....bu...

Re: A return to the 5.7 platform..in a big way!
Wait, they've done a 5.7x28 version of the CMMG Banshee? AND IT TAKES FIVE-SEVEN MAGS??? I'll see if I can get an SBR project accepted by the ATF... Too bad they didn't do a 7.62x25 Tokarev version of it as well, that round is awesome and I wish there were more modern options for it. https://i.imgu...

lot(s) of roll pins: 6 sizes, 8 applications
I couldn't find a decent price on roll pins (for spares & building) for the small number I wanted, so I bought way more than I needed & will be offering them to y'all for your builds/spares/machines Each lot is for (50) pieces; number in parenthesis is the number of lots available $10.00 shipped via...

A return to the 5.7 platform..in a big way!
I still kick myself for getting rid of my first usg, but after several years of hiatus, I've returned to the platform: CMMG Banshee USG Violin Case although I've yet to get the time to take them out, I'm sure they'll make beautiful music...both separate and together 8-) as for pics, since photobucke...

CMMG Banshee barrel length
Very seriously considering getting a Banshee in 5.7 (that would be the MK57). not interested in doing the SBR thing...AT THE MOMENT..., so a pistol it shall be.... prefer NOT to go with just a bare buffer tube, so the 100 series is OUT I like the looks of the 200 series, 8" barrel with the arm brace...

Re: FN 57 Magazines dissected ***added more pictures***
truth be told, I've not browsed the entire thread, but I'd like to add a little information that I just encountered: yesterday, I picked up a MKII & the magazines that were included with it (20's) did NOT have the metal pin in them: I'm assuming this is one of the features of the so-called "new" sty...

Re: magazine questions
that was what my initial thought was...thanks for confirming. I suppose if I need more than 3 mags of 2o rounds each, I shouldn't be in a shootout to begin withpanzermk2 wrote: ↑01 Feb 2019, 14:04https://youtu.be/Ef1ovdaOBD8
This is another one, I had another one titled, "Pro mags are still shit" but it went away.

magazine questions
so, looking at getting back into the 5.7 realm with my return; I notice that the new mkII, some say, will not fit the mki holsters...are the mags still all universal for the platform, or is there a change in those as well? had anyone done any testing with the promag 30 round mags? any issues? last ?...
