Re: bought 5.7 ammo RECENTLY?

I just bought some from Fin Feather Fur in OH over the phone for $1250 a case shipped but cannot remember the guy I talked to. I was visiting family up there and picked up some ammo at Fin Feather Fur. They even shipped it home for me and said I could do more orders by phone. It was 29 or 30 for a ...

I didn't think moon clips were around until the early 20th century and for some reason I thought the loan ranger was from before that, but I am glad to know I am not crazy.

Lone Ranger

So I went to watch Disney's new Lone Ranger the tonight and I enjoyed it. But something about the ammo kept bugging me. I mean besides the whole fire aint gonna melt silver stuff. But I thought the lone ranger was shooting a Single Action Army, and I thought the single action army was .45 Colt. But ...

Re: Survival location

Ga makes a lot of sense if you wanted to head north into the mountains or basically any other direction outside of Atlanta honestly. The south is pretty spacious, as is parts of the East. But if you head west your in Alabama and who wants that.

Springfield XD-S

Has anyone had any experience with the XD-S? I'm looking at picking one up. A .45 in that small of a package is a nice thought.

Re: I was disarmed tonight..

I have noticed in the past that if I remove my FsN from my cross breed the wrong way the safety will disengage. I am not really sure why and its not a deal breaker for me but it seems like if it is not a straight up and down motion the safety gets flipped about a quarter of the time.

These guys were set to protest a military funeral on campus on July 5th, the officer killed in the Fort Bragg shooting is an Aggie, class of '92. Call went out and a group of students formed what was dubbed the maroon wall. There were just under a thousand ags at the church and the cemetery along wi...

Re: Broke my "new" camera :( Need advice from you.

Honestly, I would go with the GoPro Hero 2. I use them all the time for work, when I have a camera op leave the shop who I think will break anything and everything they touch, I send them with a GoPro. Those things are virtually indestructible, I have had ops (the camera kind again not the tacticool...

Just kidding around with you Blue. Have to sneak the last few in before A&M and UT never see each other again (this is the last weekend we play again each other in any sport for the foreseeable future). That is an interesting problem though, any chance you can compare the weight to another and see i...

Re: FiveseveN in the water

Blue, I like the safe idea except then maybe my safe would get scratched up and I would have to worry about hurting my safe ( that is honestly my fear with the dry bags, I like my dry bags and I don't want a sight ripping a hole in em). Floaties may not be a bad idea though. It seems like the consen...

Re: FiveseveN in the water

I thought about a dry bag but it seems like it would be difficult to get out from a dry bag while still in the water. A pelican case may be a little bit easier though.

fd7, did you do anything to your ammo to keep the powder dry or was the crimp on the neck enough?

Re: Concealed carry - smaller gun

Of course! You have to have your "I went to the court house and put in a form card"! Theres a large number of them out there, Lakeside guns off of 41 seems to be a fan of em. I got some bulk ammo for a pretty good price there back in December and if I remember right they had some bulk hollow points ...

FiveseveN in the water

I've got a kayaking trip coming up and I'm trying to come up with a way to bring my handy dandy FiveseveN with me (it typically goes every where else with me). The goals are concealed, water proofing and of course I got to be able to get to and use it. Mainly because I got to follow the laws and Tex...

I have had the same problem as panzermk2 with the SS197 just going through poppers instead of actually knocking them down. That gets really annoying really quick.

I have tried and failed at setting of Tannerite targets with my FiveseveN. Hit it and it just knocked the little container thingy over and punched a whole in it.
