Vit. N340 Reloading

With powder availability down, I decided to try some N340 I had on hand w/ some interesting results.
Using the Lyman 49th edition data I loaded 5 each of the following. I was more interested in safety and function than collecting a lot of velocity data
Fired from the FiveSeven.

4.4 gr N340, (starting load) win small pistol (magnum) 40 Gr. VMax COL 1.580 yielded 1650 ft/ sec Std deviation 10ft sec.
4.6 gr. 1700 ft/Sec St Dev. 10 ft/sec (4 of 5 within 4 ft/sec!!)
4.8 gr. ( Lyman "Max" load) 1730 ft/Sec St Dev. 30 ft/sec (extreme spread 110 ft/sec!!)

The 4.8 load showed powder instability along with a flattening of the primer and some sooting of the neck. From this small sample it looks like the mid range may be the best for the FiveSeven pistol.

j'ai vu votre post ici au sujet du rechargement du 5,7x28 .
Je vais bientôt recevoir mon ruger 57 .
Je recharge également mais je ne trouve rien avec des poudres que l'on peut avoir en France.
Pourriez vous s'il vous plaît me confirmer un rechargement que vous avez pu tester ( marque/type de poudre, poids ogive, amorces etc ).
vu qu'on arrive difficilement à avoir d'autres poudres, la RS , la VitaV ou la vectan seraient intéressantes.
j'espère que vous recevrez ce message et que vous pourrez y répondre.
si ça vous intéresse, j'ai trouvé un tableau de correspondance des poudres vendues en France et ailleurs...
