Hodgdon superformance powder

Post by jhoser2000 » 07 May 2013, 11:20

Hello has anyone tried using the Hodgdon Superformance powder for reloading in 5.7x28 yet? I have come across a few pounds of it and am curious. Thanks for any help.

Anyone know of the top of their head about what the relative burn rate is? Double or single base? Ball or stick? Sorry, Im not too familiar with it. What other cartridges is it good for?

Superformance powder is a spherical powder with a relatively slow burn rate. The Hogdon data center has specific loads. It was designed to suit and improve the performance of a handful of rifle cartridges, e.g., 22-250. Definitely NOT for the 5.7x28.
