62 grain FMJ using longshot?

I know it has been said not to use heavier bullets, but want to get some starting points. Got a good subsonic load for my PS-90 sbr using 55 gr FMJ, longshot, thanks to grimmond. Now want to try heavier bullet of 62 grains FMJ from rocky mountain reloading. Only thing is I am not sure where to begin due to size of rounds, 0.830. I was entertaining the idea of 2.3 grains of longshot, but case fill will be close to being bad. I know 2.7 grains works great for 55 gr FMJ, so start there?

I know this is a little old but do you mind posting you data on the PS90 for 55 grain pills?? I'm running an SBR and planning to work on subs this fall for the MK2 and PS90.

I believe 55 grains ended up being 1.60 OAL, 55 grain FMJ, 2.7-2.9 longshot. Went low as 2.5 and we good. No keyholing out of PS-90 sbr and with supressor. Will cycle the FN57 with no keyholing, but with supressor attached, will get keyholing.

Got some working 62 grain subs, however they are still experimental and encountering cycling issues and bullet setback if a misfeed happens. Fiddling with OAL and also suspecting bad mags. Don't get out to the range except every 3 months.

EDIT 62 grainers no keyholing out of sbr and sup. WIll cycle fn 57, but WILL NOT put a supressor on it for these too since my 55 grainers don't work.

I'm also trying a 62 grain bullet for the 57. I have Longshot and would like to get your successful load data if possible.

Thank you.
