My initial impression is that the M&P 5.7 is lighter recoiling and at least as accurate as the FN FiveSeven. There were zero malfunctions. Of note, there was very little shoulder movement on the EA T6B (pictured above). The impulse was barely distinguishable from the other factory rounds.
Cons: The M&P is a bit of a chore to clean. The manual suggests that the barrel and shroud be soaked in CLP for several hours! It remains to be seen how much fouling and debris might affect functioning if it’s not cleaned thoroughly. I also noticed my 507k picked up some blowback and was rather dirty after the session.
