Double Barrel AR, What Next?

Post by smpsmp » 14 May 2012, 22:35

Seriously? Wasn't the double barrel 1911 retarded enough? I am surprised Red Jacket didn't come out with this first, and "revolutionize everything." It should be a "game changer."

Stick a zombie hunter emblem on it & they'll make a fortune

Stop saying it's retarded. More is always better. Capitalism. All that stuff.

I thought fantasizing about Zombies and some scenario all day online was stupid. However, a good friend pointed out that to him it is relaxing and a point of venting. So that gave me some perspective. Although when it's not him who is venting, I still find it annoying.

The point?

Let it be. Just let it be. Just. Let. It. Be.

It's ok. If people want to make things you think are silly, let them. :)

I can't wrap my head around this one. The double barrel 1911 I pseudo understood, I mean put two comps on it, a massive magwell, paint some flames on it, and put some knob on the side of the slide and it could be your "race gun." Twice as fast as a normal race gun

In the AR's case, could be a good zombie gun if you're drunk and seeing doubles. Must have been the logic they used.

No USPSA competition will allow a double barrel 1911. I know you weren't being serious, SMP, but I would just like to point some things out... :)

Nevermind, I just made it into a Blues Clues to avoid people combusting their eyeballs out of disbelief.

To answer the question, what's next?
A TRIPLE barrel AR. Then a Quad, then a...GATLING AR. The STOOPIDITY never ends.

Until somebody goes, 'Oooh...a GATLING AR sounds really KewWlLlL! We needz to dew it!'

No thanks, I'll wait for what he's looking for. And since more is better apparently, it's worth repeating. It's worth repeating...

Just remember, to a liberal your single barrel ARs are just as pointless to manufacture/own.

I wouldn't turn down a double barreled AR if someone gave it to me. It might not be all that practical (kind of like dual wielding) for most scenarios, however I bet it would still be fun to shoot.

Now something that I would be more interested in paying good money for would be their new pistol AR:

Why stop there? I say, make an AR derringer, too! Of course, with design limitations, it would have to be chambered in .22LR, but the design still holds true to the true AR purists..

Where is the sarcasm font again??
