I also ordered my PSA 5.7 Rock. How long from time of order to time of delivery did it take? Waiting on PSA to ship it. Went ahead and ordered the threaded barrel model. Can't wait. Presently have a Ruger 5.7.

The Rock is a duty gun that will give the FsN a run for it's money

Tested 9 different ammos. FN195LF, FN197SR, FN198LF, Federal FMJ, Speer GD JHP, Elite Ammunition T6B, DevesaTOR, ProtecTOR 4, & PenetraTOR FMJBT. The fastest round was T6B at 2514 fps with SD of 5.1. The slowest was with American Eagle at 1687 fps.
I compared the velocity against the Ruger 57 (4.94 barrel) and the 5.7 Rock (5.2 threaded barrel) and can tell you that the Rock velocities were at least 75-100 fps faster than the Ruger’s.

I picked up mine today - optics ready w/threaded barrel. Took 5 days from ordering to delivery to central Indiana. I also have an FN MKII and I like the PSA much better. Seems to shoot softer and feels better in the hand. Trigger started out very gritty but was quite nice after about 70 rounds. Lyman has it at a 4# 15oz pull. Shot 197, 195, and Federal both suppressed (SilencerCo Sparrow) and unsuppressed without any problems and no change in POI. Time to get a red dot for it.

I really like the way this one feels and shoots. PSA did a good job on this one. I hope the rumors of PSA producing ammo (AAC) are true.

Ordered my two-tone optics ready (and threaded) Rock ~2 weeks ago, and.. days later they released it with a Holosun already installed for the same price!

I put a glass Shield RMSw on mine though, so I'm happy!

Anybody have any luck with holsters for this gun?

On a site note, I'm probably going to get bashed for this but... as a 1911 guy, I really wish the Rock had a safety of some sort (either manual or grip). I don't consider the trigger lever a safety!

My X300 and RMR wearing Rock fits my Safariland 6395 RDS ALS designed for an RMR and X300 wearing Glock 17.

In a large Rock thread on ARF a number of people have said their Glock 17 holsters are working with the Rock, but it's obviously going to be a case by case basis.

Ref them releasing a "better" model for the same price...I bought my threaded and optics ready along with 3 extra mags and a week later they had a threaded and optics ready blem with 10 mags for the same price.

Still new they are being worked on. As soon as quality ones are out there I/EA will be selling them.

Well if cocked and locked is you thing get a FNH Five Seven. It's system is almost identical to that of a 1911.

JB, the one you are talking about with the Holosun on it is the one My Son just ordered a couple of weeks ago. It's "supposed" to be in at his local FFL but He works down south and hasn't been able to pick it up yet to try it out. He picked up a box of Federal AE ammo for it (yeah, just a box, LOL!) and then He then started texting me pictures of a box of Black tip AP Mil/LE only ammo had that they were selling for $10.00 a round/$500,00 for the box. I told him "Well, Whoop DE Do, Roscoe! Who can Afford to Shoot That?".
Anyway, he had a Holster come in for it that has a Black Carbon Fiber look and it's Made by "NERD" (not trying to advertise for them) but since his pistol isn't here, I can't even begin to tell you that it fits.
ETA: My Son came in and the Nerd Holster fits the PSA Rock perfectly.
