FN SLP Tactical

Post by FN ADDICT » 21 Aug 2008, 14:28

FYI. I recently posted a question about where or when I could get the FN SLP Tactical (pistal grip/tri rail on tube). Sent an email to FNH and recieved a reply that it would be delayed until next year. I just hope they haven't made all but pump shotguns illegal by then.

To me FN really isn't that great when it comes to parts or accessories.
I still can't find any .223 caliber bolt guns that they have listed on their website.

All we can do is wait, i guess. I know how you feel, I want one too!

They may miss out on a sale if I can get ahold of the monolith p-12. I can understand trying to show off potential products, but you cant tell from the webstie whether anything they have is for sale or not released yet. I must have tried a hundred dealers to find an fnp 45 with night sights. Couldn't get one of those either.

Just put nite sights on. Trijicon or Meprolite will fit on it.

Realy on the FNP-45? I had heard that they made them for the 9 & 40, but not the 45. How hard was this to do?

FN addict - Call Ray Tanner. He had a bunch of FN 45s for sale recently. I'm also sure he would be able to get one with night sights if they are available.

I emailed Roy, he said he hasn't seen any night sight versions of the FNP 45 come through and he hasn't heard of the night sights for it on the market yet. I still bought another one from him anyway. Great Gun!!

Since the Obama nation is coming, I broke down and bought a FN SLP 18" from impact guns. I will probably get the tactical slp or even the P-12 at a later time (if we still can). I would rather have something, than nothing right now.

You are aware of impactguns possible super long wait time? Obama might have finished him term by them

Unless you of course bought it and it was in stock already.

When an auction uses scare tactics like saying a shotgun is goingto be banned, I give them little credibility. And when I compare prices to other vendors, I usually find that the auctioner is a snake in the crass.
The same tactics I see being used my at local gunshow. Some idiots advertise that bullet proof vests will be banned soon. Never going to happen. Felons aren't allowed to get them, but they distort the truth so that you dump 500 bucks on a vest you might not have ever gotten.

CALL TANNER'S NOW!!.. awhile back he was charging 475 for that same shotgun.

Eagle, you've been here awhile, you should know that tanners is the best place for FN products.

Here's a good alternative.. if your willing to pay that much then might as well get a semiauto.

Since I just saw one on Tanners go for about 1500, and I paid 950. I don't mind the wait.
